What should I wear to a date tomorrow?

I’m going on a date tomorrow to a carnival-type thing. It’s going to be kind of humid and there’s a chance of rain. After the carnival we’re going to see fireworks. so it will be chilly then. I’m curling my hair, but I also don’t know what make-up I should do. I’m 5’1″ (i know, im short!) and im kind of chubby. Thanks
