Some Books About Wedding Etiquette
In every part of the world, ladies dream of weddings. More often than not, they succeed in getting one. Thus, for every nation or country, in every culture, there are weddings.
Weddings have become inevitable events in modern society. But, it is clear and apparent that weddings have become, in a sense, a way of lifestyle. It can be attributed to the Western influence.
Wedding traditions, be it for Americans, Asians, Europeans, Africans or any race, have become universalized. When you say universalized, it means the event has adhered to same customs and traditions.
Thus, we have wedding etiquettes. Wedding etiquettes can vary from one country to another. But the variations are only slight and minimal. Moreover, the ethics and etiquettes in weddings are all but the same.
Because being into weddings or attending weddings have become a way of our modern life, people can get anxiety knowing that there are certain gestures that can be considered not likely during weddings.
If you are a bride or a groom, the anxiety can get really concerning. The couple will have to undergo a hard time—on wedding jitters and on anxiety from wedding customs.
Thus, the best way to help the soon-to-be-wed couple is to educate them about certain wedding etiquettes.
Because learning venues for wedding etiquettes can get so distracting, awkward and embarrassing at the same time, it is advisable that those needing briefings for wedding etiquettes consult the book stands.
The following are several of the highly recommended readings or books for or about wedding etiquettes. To get to know the books better, or to absorb what they have to say, get to the nearest book store or go to your favorite online shopping site to place an order.
Some recommended wedding etiquette books
“The Everything Etiquette Book: A Modern-Day Guide to Good Manners” by Leah Ingram. The author, Leah Ingram is considered as one of society’s etiquette experts. Actually, the book is not exclusive to wedding etiquettes.
The book tackles etiquettes for everyday living. Included in the topics covered are how to deal with annoying neighbors, how to choose and send the perfect gift for every occasion, professionalism at work, camaraderie with colleagues and friends, dealing with unlikely relatives and so on.
Because the book covers everything etiquette, of course, a few pages are allotted to weddings. The wedding etiquettes mentioned in the book are glimpses and shortened or simplified, but they still are effective tips.
“Crane’s Wedding Blue Book” by Steven L. Feinberg. Mr Steven Feinberg’s wedding book is very detailed and covers everything about wedding etiquettes.
The issues tackled start from the preparation—from short listing the guest list, doing the invitation, hiring wedding planners, and so on. The wedding etiquettes covered by the book extend to until after the honeymoon, when the couple should have finished giving out thank you cards to their wedding guests.
The book also gives tips and guidelines on what kind and color of paper to use when printing out invites and than you notes. It also deals with the proper way of handling unlikely, and yes, even wedding crashers.
“The Everything Wedding Etiquette Book: Insights and Advice on Handling Even the Stickiest Wedding Issues” by Emily Ehrenstein and Laura Morin. The book gives out little and practical do’s and don’ts during weddings.
The book takes the issues from the different perspectives of that of the bride, the groom, the parents, the maid of honor, the bride’s maids, the groom’s men, stepmothers, down to the guests.
The book boasts of practical solution to every concern and awkward situations that occur during weddings. The situations discussed can sometimes get cute, amusing and funny, but you can tell that they are timely and truthful. Several sticky situations, for sure, have happened to you.
Everyone who has attended weddings or who are planning to attend or get into one can relate to the book.
The book even gives out solutions and advice on how to handle difficult situations during weddings that include how to ask parents-in-law for financial assistance to cover the reception, including step parents in the ceremony, allowing single guests to tag along dates down to planning seat arrangements for divorced parents and more.
The above mentioned wedding etiquette books can be found at our favorite book stand or can be ordered online. Just read the books by heart so you can get to absorb wedding etiquettes and save your face when situations get really sticky during weddings.

Online Dating: Russian Women Sites ? Some Quick Do?s and Don?ts
The market for men seeking to date, form relationships and even marry Russian women (and women from the various Republics inside the former USSR) has never been larger, and seems to be growing every day. A quick search of the subject on Google or some other search engine will get you literally thousands of hits and offer you literally hundreds of choices as far as what services to use. However, as all too many men have found in the last few years, there are also a lot of scams and con games out there. And the tragic part about it is most of the men who have been scammed in the past could have avoided it by taking a few simple, common sense precautions.
The fact that there are people out there looking to take advantage of men who are in the Russian women relationship/marriage market is not surprising. Finding someone to share your life with tends to be a very difficult and very emotional process under any circumstances – and people tend to be at their most vulnerable when it comes to matters of the heart. Still, even in matters of the heart, it is also vitally important that people use their heads as well. Here are a few quick, simple, common sense tips to help you avoid the scam artists and conmen (and women) and aid you in your search for the perfect match.
START WITH YOUR OWN VIRUS PROTECTION PROGRAM – The first step towards finding a legitimate online agency to do business with starts before you even visit any individual websites. It starts with the anti-virus/internet security software that you already have installed on your own computer (and if you don’t have this kind of protection on your computer, you are going to want it get it ASAP). Whether you are using Microsoft, McAfee, Norton, Kaspersky or almost any other major brand, your program will have an internet security feature that will warn you about potential dangers (viruses, worms, spyware, etc.) that are known to be associated with the sites you are considering looking into. Pay attention to these warnings! If a site is red flagged or even question marked by your security software, you will probably want to leave it alone.
NUDITY – While many legitimate Russian relationship/marriage websites feature pictures of their female clients (and yes, remember that the legitimate agencies are working for the women too!) elegantly or even provocatively dressed, few if any legitimate agencies show any nudity anywhere on their site. If you are at a site featuring naked women, the chances are that you are not at an agency, but rather a porn site. If porn is your thing, have fun! But if you are looking for an actual long term relationship, it is probably time to move on.
INFORMATION, RESOURCES AND FAQ’s – Just like any other kind of business, the owners of legitimate agencies specializing in Russian women understand that not only do they have a lot of competition out there, but also that an informed consumer is usually the best customer. Once you have found a service’s website that looks interesting to you, make certain that you dig a little deeper into that site before you spend any of your money there. The best place to start is with their FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section (and if the site you are at doesn’t have an FAQ section, you might want to look elsewhere). The FAQ section should outline, in clear, simple to understand language, exactly what the site can and can’t do for you. It should also tell you right up front what the various services they offer are, what they cost, how they charge, and what you can reasonably expect. For example, beware of any site that guarantees you that the first woman you meet will be the woman for you. Relationships don’t work that way in real life, and they don’t work that way on the internet either. If after reading through the FAQ you are still interested, surf around the site a little and see what resources they offer. Are there easy to use instructions available? Guarantees? Articles and tips on how to start and continue the relationship process? All of these things are a big plus to the consumer. What you are really looking for, however, is what isn’t there. If, after spending some time on the site you get the feeling that the agency’s owners are being unclear about what they charge, or what services they offer or that they are trying to hide something, it might be time to take your search elsewhere.
VERIFICATION – This is perhaps the most challenging – and most important – aspect involved in finding the right agency for you: making certain that the women you are meeting are actually who they say they are, and are actually the women in their pictures and videos. By some estimates, fully 80% of the scams associated with all online dating revolve around the fact that someone is not who they claim to be or, in some cases, doesn’t even exist at all. Legitimate services will have some kind of verification process for the women they are representing – the most effective of which, of course, is actually having a representative of their agency physically meet the women in question to verify their identity. For this reason, it is important that any agency you do business with has offices or partners in the countries that the women come from. Still, and unfortunately, even this cannot provide a consumer with a 100% guarantee and so it is necessary that any service you do business with is able to provide you with a way to prove to yourself that the women you are meeting are the women they claim to be. The easiest and most effective way to do this is via a real time video dating option. With the advances in technology in recent years, most legitimate agencies specializing in relationship/marriage with Russian women will offer some kind of real time video option, providing the customer with an extra level of protection and security. If the agency you are considering using does not offer this option as part of their list of services, you need to ask yourself why they don’t, and consider moving on in your search.
Everyone’s perfect match is out there somewhere, but there are also a lot of sharks circling in those particular waters. By taking a little extra time and making certain that the agency you choose can provide you with the tools you need to make an informed decision you can save yourself time, money, heartache – and move many steps closer to finding that special person to share your life with.
What are some things I should be aware of when dating a single parent?

I really love his little kid, so we get along well, but are there other things or tips you could tell me about so I might be better prepared for a relationship like this? What are the challenges in a situation like this? I am pretty young and I don’t have alot of experience with this sort of thing. All sincere advice is really appreciated!

What Are Some Do?s And Don?ts For Women On A Date?
No matter what you see on television and in movies, dating is hard work. Men are sometimes a little difficult for a woman to understand and endlessly meeting the wrong man can start to wear you down after a while. There are some things that a woman can do to improve her dating skills and enjoy each and every one of her dates.
The first thing that a lot of women make a mistake with is timing. Don’t be late for your date. It is one of the rudest things you can do to your prospective date. It assumes that they have all the time in the world to wait for you. Women tend to think that it is fashionable to be late. It’s not, don’t make that mistake.
Pay attention to your date’s behavior. It may seem as though you are being overly suspicious but it is in every woman’s best interest to protect herself during a date. Notice how he behaves with other people and whether or not he has a wandering eye. It is a sure sign that you don’t want a second date with this guy if he is busy checking out every woman who walks by. Glancing at someone or noticing someone walking by is not the same thing as ogling. Watch for these signs and don’t overreact if he is just looking up when someone else walks by. But if it is a clear case of ogling, take note and don’t agree to a second date.
Be pleasant. It shouldn’t have to be said, but you’d be surprised how many women are not nice on a date. Keep a positive attitude about the places you are going even if you would rather have done something else. You never know, you might find you like the choice your date has made. Remember he has chosen an activity or location because he thought you might like it, not because he wants you to have a miserable time.
Finally, relax and enjoy your date. Have a good time and participate in the conversation. Get to know this guy you agreed to date. That is what you are there for. Dating isn’t easy, but it can be enjoyable if you just relax and enjoy the company you are with. You don’t have to fall head over heels in love on a first date, but you can take the time to get to know another person and develop common interests and a decent friendship. That is the cornerstone to any good relationship.
